The editorial board of The Wisconsin Counseling Journal, the journal of the
Wisconsin Counseling Association (WCA), encourages you to submit a manuscript for possible inclusion in the Fall 2008 Volume.
The journal is focused on topics of interest to Wisconsin’s counselors, including the following
four areas:
Innovative Methods includes thorough
descriptions of techniques, strategies, skills, and activities that have been developed and/or implemented by counselors.
Theory & Research variety of manuscripts, both qualitative
and quantitative, that describes original research as well as literature reviews on topics pertaining to counseling.
Professional Development primarily describes, through
manuscripts and position papers, ways in which counselors can continue to cultivate and enhance their professional identities.
Training strategies for counseling students as well as continuing education for experienced counselors will be highlighted.
Current Issues affecting counseling and counselors
features manuscripts and position papers that detail contemporary issues. Authors are invited to explore topics of interest
to counselors within Wisconsin.
